Overview
MLR M3DIA respects your privacy. SIMPL Miles is designed for private business mileage and expense records. Your records are stored on your device and may sync through Apple iCloud if that service is available for your account.
Information You Provide
SIMPL Miles stores the records you choose to enter, including mileage entries, expenses, receipt images, dates, notes, client or project names, favorite places, recurring trips, and business profile details such as owner name, business name, default start address, and mileage-rate preferences.
Account and Sync
SIMPL Miles uses Sign in with Apple for account identity. If you provide your name or email through Apple, the app may store that account detail locally for display and account access. App records may sync through Apple iCloud services when iCloud is enabled for your account. MLR M3DIA does not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.
Location
SIMPL Miles requests location access only for features that need it, including GPS drive tracking, route-related mileage records, favorite places, and optional leave-home or finish-drive reminders. Background and precise location are used while a drive is actively being tracked or when an optional reminder requires that permission. You can change location permissions in iOS Settings.
Photos, Camera, and Receipts
If you add a receipt, SIMPL Miles stores the receipt image with the expense record. The app may read receipt text on device to help fill in merchant, total, date, and category fields. You can skip scanned suggestions and enter details manually.
Notifications
SIMPL Miles uses notifications only for reminders you choose, such as leave-home mileage prompts, possible finish-drive prompts, and daily review checks. You can turn reminders off in the app or manage notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Third-Party Services
SIMPL Miles relies on Apple platform services including Sign in with Apple, iCloud, Apple Maps, Photos, Camera, notifications, and App Store distribution. Those services are governed by Apple's privacy policies and terms.
Your Controls
You can export records as CSV, import CSV records, delete individual records, remove receipts, edit saved places, and delete your SIMPL Miles account and app records from the app. Account deletion removes SIMPL Miles records from the app and syncs those changes through iCloud where applicable.
